Pictures From the Road – Monet’s Water Lilies
Last year around this time, Kristen and I were in Paris enjoying our first trip together to the continent. Kristen had always been a fan of Claude Monet’s work, especially the Water Lilies. During this trip we saw the Water Lilies in L’Orangerie in the Tuileries Gardens and decided to take a day trip out to Giverny to see the inspiration for Monet’s work. We had a great time and some memories that will last us a lifetime!
P.S. If you ever do go to visit Giverny, try a ham and cheese sandwich at the little snack shop just before you get to Monet’s House and Gardens. It was one of the best sandwiches we ever had!
