Our trick for ribs is actually cooking them twice. First, we cover the ribs with a rub made of pepper, paprika, brown sugar, chili powder and onion powder. After the ribs are well coated with a thin layer of rub, we place the ribs in an aluminum foil packet and pour about a cup of liquid (in this case Pabst Blue Ribbon) into the packet before sealing it tightly. We cook the them in the over at 250 degree oven for around 2 hours, which helps make the meat tender. The second phase of cooking is on a grill at medium high heat and basting with Bone Suckin’ Sauce. After cooking and basting on each side, remove from heat and let it rest five minutes before serving. The result gives you the spice from the rub with the sweetness from the barbeque sauce. Do you have good recipes for ribs or grilling in general?
